It was great working with both Julia and Diego. They were up for anything and everything that happened at their wedding. It was a fabulous party and a beautiful afternoon to spend cruising around Union Square finding fun spots to shoot some portraits. I would like to comment about the first photo I posted because it is so indicative of why I love my job: I had asked Julia and Diego to sit on the steps and just playfully interact with each other. Diego had turned his face towards Julia and placed his hand on her cheek. My first inclination was to ask him to drop his hand, but while I was shooting I could sense that they were enjoying a special moment and I just kept quiet. This is definitely my favorite photo from the day, but it is also one of my all time favorites. I truly love my job and am honored to be invited to document these amazing moments.
