This is my new favorite spot in Novato! Julie and Ryan both grew up here and really wanted to shoot their engagement session at one of the open spaces in the area. About two years ago I photographed some friends up in this same spot, so I was glad to be back. And what a beautiful day! Julie and Ryan are absolutely charming together; we had a wonderful time romping around this open space. It was a perfect day. Can’t wait for the wedding!
Whenever I make a homemade pizza I am always reminded of Kari and Ted. I got to know Ted while he was working at Novato High School, but more importantly, while he was our neighbor. I remember coming home from work and peeking in through the patio door that led to Ted’s living room where I would find these two playfully cooking up some pizza creation. Not too mention, Kari makes the most delicious chocolate chip cookies. Needleess to say, I missed them ardently when Ted moved out. I was honored to be included at their wedding in such a special way. Kari was radiant and Ted cleaned up quite nicely. It was a lovely wedding.
